Joseph C. Valure is a Certified Public Accountant. He graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2006, with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. 

As a child, he kept meticulous lists and spreadsheets on everything from batting averages to the value of classic cars. As a result, his mother, whose background is in personal income tax, always felt he was destined to become a CPA. 

After graduation, he began his career in the Louisiana Legislative Auditor’s office, before moving on to work under Karen Johnson at Latuso & Johnson CPA in Baton Rouge. In 2008, he made the move to Kevin F. Caire CPA APAC, where he remained for eight years. 

In 2016, he decided it was time to try his hand at running his own accounting firm and set out on his own as a sole practitioner in 2018 , and now operates out of an office in Denham Springs on Magnolia Beach Road. He is a member of the Livingston Parish Chamber of Commerce and hopes to assist his community as much as he can, while also forming meaningful friendships and business connections.
